today i walked around france, breathed in a panoramic view of marseille from the top of the city, took a nap in front of an old palace, supplied sunflower oil for an egg roll party, talked about the secret of life with my companion slash dear friend and munched on the most juicy apple the south of france could offer...what beautiful memories were made

its been a pretty good week. saturday esperarance was baptised but not with out opposition. thursday night before her saturday baptism her husband was attacked at work and came out with a black eye and an evening at the police station. the last time esperance decided to be baptised she ended up falling down the stairs. its so weird how opposition for esperance has been physical agression. it was like satan was physically trying to stop her from doing this. and not just a few tears were shed. it just made us so frustrated and then we realized that is exactly the game. the more frusturated and angry we are the more frustrated the work is and the more satan is laughing at his victory. my district united in prayer and saturday esperance was baptised. it was so good. soooooo good.
