the meritus days of mission life

Wow! Meritus is a big word. My beautiful intelligent compaion has succeeded in continously impoving my vocabulary.

Meritus=one worth of merit. Write that down.

How greatful I am for the sun after 8 days of rain. Yeah! And playing basketball with nice elders who actually passed the ball to me even though I really can't make shots. And getting bruses from playing volleyball in the snow. I'm not kidding. That ball was soo cold. And the beautiful albanian family that asked if it was possible for families to be together forever. uhh...yeah. and monica opening up to share her heart with members of the church. and experimental cheese parties. (10 different types. They really eat the moldy stuff here. Point of information: it's not that good. I personally don't like mold to eat) Eating escargo with the bishop's family. His 2 year old loves them. Weird. They were coverd in a green slime sauce. actually not too shabby. 5 people that haven't been to church in a really really long time have joined us on sunday. I squeeled like it was christmas morning. It's a good feeling.

Life is still hard. I imagine it always will be. The lord gives the rough spots to help us appreciate the smooth right? and to keep us humble. if I was good at every aspect of missionary work then I would have to need to be humble. I'd be too good. good thing i'm not.

Next week...dun dun dun arcachan again. Except this time i'm the self appointed fun district leader and all the missionaries are going. well by all i mean 10 but hey...that is totally sufficiant.

and life is good. Meritus even.
