hi shai!

A blog about me! (in a non-egocentric sort of way)

New things are good

Its a new day. Man the sun was shining great today. Sun + spring = massive amounts of pollen = Shai sneezing all day.

New things make me smile because it makes you look and admire the old. And when you decide to serve a full time mission, lots of new things happen. For instance:

New Decoration: My little "playhouse" is now decorated with rubbertubs and matching snapping lids and free boxes from Walmart. Ahhh nothing like cardboard and rubber to really spice up a room. All in the name of moving! With my parents! It is a scary adventurous sort of feeling to come home to bare walls and clean sheets. But who cares, I'm going somewhere. I'm sure this time will be different than the summer between Freshman and Sophomore year. (I'm not 19 for one thing) And I'm sure it would be totally different if I was moving into my parents house unintentionally. But my temporary parental habitation is in preperation for the real adventure of France.

New Travel Companion: I am now the proud owner of a "house on wheels" thanks to Jean and Larkin. For the next two years everything I own, or at least my ugly shoes and conservative clothes, will be privy to a life in a 18" x 30" black box on wheels with a handy retractable handle. Fun huh?

New Form of Expression: I'm embarking on the weblog experience. I have officially had this blog for two days and have recruited about 10 people to open blogs. There should be commission for this stuff. Thanks again to Jean for sharing. I'm pretty excited to be able to communicate with everyone while in France.

New Focus: The real momentum comes from knowing that my life will be totally and completly dedicated to the Lord and spreading His love for the next two years. I recommend it, it's a great feeling.
