BIG DAY

Wednesday was the three week countdown mark. Only 21 dyas left untill my
full time adventure begins. It is amazing how slow time goes but how fast it
seems.

I officially have about 1/8 of everything that I need for the mission. I
have been a little distracted by a cute boy. But we have both moved back to
reality and I am focused and determined. Well sort of...Dang that cell phone...

This weekend is the "farewell" in Henryetta, OKlahoma. For any of you who
don't know much about my religion, let me explain what that is. We don't have a paid minister giving sermons or preaching on Sundays. Usually the members of the congregation
take turns giving talks and testimonies etc. This way all get to participate
and grow instead of the "I talk-you listen" version of church. So a farewell
is like a, well, I would call it a tradition. The departing missionary gets
to speak in church right before she leaves. So the majority of the service
will be me running my mouth. What are these people thinking letting me do
that?

So I'm a bit nervous about that. The Lord will help, I know. I wouldn't be
scared to talk in front of 1000 people I don't know but all my family and
friends? That is scary.

Any advice?
