what a great week! Busy busy and weird and busy and weird. No time for much but here are the Miracles de Jour
Aug23: a great letter from Elder Evans. It's so good to have friends. Writing letters by the beach and tossing all my concerns into the water. French + Okie = Frokie. Watching a little boy chase pigions in the park and be so happy that he's alive.
Aug 24: I cut bangs. i'm so retarded. I printed 80 photos from transfer 1 today. they are awesome! Thinking of 10 million fighting words and criticisms to say to my companion and praying for patience and actually getting it. I held my tounge. It's a first.
Aug 25: Helping a new member write her very first talk. Watching my companion give a book of mrom on the bus becuase of a compliment about a hat. Grilled cheese sandwiches with french cheese.
Aug 26: God gives us the opportunity to suck. To fall falt on our face and then have to get up and see ourselves in the miorrer. Elder Bennet promisiong to wave a magic wand and make life all better.
Aug 27:Park Pheonix with 10 little kids. it was so fun. Spending the day watching to exahsting kids and teaching them about God. Eating get this...Pig Ears and Pig Nose stewed with bananas.
Aug 28: A beautiul Fench sunset. Teaching a 10 year old boy how to pray and hearing him try. Having Gena a non member bear her testimony to us on the power of tithing.
Aug 29: Zone conference and the healing power of the spirit. Getting close to the tipping point. Listening to a talk in French and taking notes in French and not even realizing that i'm understanding untill 5 minutes later! Talking to a man on a train in a combination of spanish enlish and french about God. Giovanni thought that life was full of missery and if a God really loved his children then why are we so unhappy. Sharing a message that God is there and does love us and wants us to be happy. We are now friends for life. Going to bed so happy that I can hardly sleep.
Not much for details sorry everybody...oh and FYI we must all resort to snail mail. Emails are now interdit(french for no no) but I will still keep the blog updated. You can still email me at hishai@myldsmail.net but I just can't write you back. :) So get out a pen and write me a real letter. It's better anyway.
Be Happy. Just try it. If the first thing you do in the morning is smile and think today's gonna be a good day, it will be. Promise.
