chez nous

3 rue negre
residence caducee Bat B
13005 Marseille
France

that's it. whe have done it. we have been accepted. taken. we are now part of the life of marseille!!! we have moved across town to a cute little studio that evey one hates and i love. we have been allowed to stay together for another six weeks. it's like a dream. come true.

it's been a pretty uneventful week. sr kim got really sick and had to spend like 3 days in bed. and when she could get out of bed she was running for the bathroom. and the advice that was given to us by our bishop was...get this...

1 drink a litter of salt water
2 shake it around in your belly
3 make your self throw up

you'll feel better. she did it. and i took a video. but that's about it for eventful happenings during our week. Oh wait... i saw a missionary die. it wasn't pretty. but don't worry it was't a real death in the sense that you think. She went home. to her house. and i almost would rather see a real death because this was painful. I met her when I was a young missionary, my first month or so, and then now she is on a plane going home. so weird. I'm next. half of me is jealous half of me feels really bad for her. that's the life i guess.

so what i have learned this week is how to naturally and disgustingly cure stomach ache and how to go home at the end of a mission. both very useful things.

oh yesterday we had a little going away party for the soeurs and well we left a little late and i was feeling guilty and guess what happened. 9 people got stuck in an elevator built for 8. and it would have been hilarious but well there was this little old lady who was horribly claustrophobic and started screaming and sweating and such.... it was so great. vive la vie.

if any one cares to offer post mission advice, university, state of choice, etc feel free.

i'm really tired. i hope that explains the lack of creativity.

love Shai
