Burning...

Well I have officially celebrated the passing of a major life miles stone with the age old tradition of a white shirt and matches. For those of you unformiliar with this sort or celebration particular only to missionary culture it is an occasion of sweet simplicity. A missionary that has reached one year or half way or any other day that calls for celebratory measures, will announce a gathering around what could be known as a campfire personnally created for our burning pleasure. We make some rediculous remarks and pretend like it is a solemn occasion and then we light the preselected representation of our milestone in flames. For my half way it was nylons that did not send pleasure to the nostrils but this day called for special measures. Being that we have inherited a former elder apartement we have some left over elders goodies. Included a white collered for my may 4th entertainment. And well since our stove is gas I was well equiped for a celebreation of record. and well at 10:45 a beautiful pure well worn 60% blend of cotton and polyester became the victim of this yearly sacrifice. And the pictures are so glorious...if only i could figure out how to post them...

either way i'm now on the decent. The desent. The downhill. (what limited spelling that formerlly existed has been exhausted in the daily grind of missionary life) So that leaves me to 4 transfers or 6 months to soak up the glory that is giving a heart to the lord and to random people on the street.

Marseille is still great. We are being blessed with a great companionship. I mean if I have to walk around with someone all day long it's pretty great that I like her? And if I had to choose who to walk around france with for 12 hours a day and soeur aagard or wilcox wasn't an option soeur kim would be the lucky winner. Seriously this kid is cool. and she's good. She works. She teaches. She speaks french. And she's just good.

We do hvae one ami that is open and excited and reading the book of mormon like a star. And well we need your prayers but know that the Lord is protecting and providing. soeur kim and i are memorizing scriptures with songs and the scripture of a few days ago says

ok that is from my head. Moroni 7 : 26. it's still true. What we are asking for and owrking for we are getting.

Today we got a beautiful day of hiking and laughing with soeur aagard and her blue and chinese food! It was so great. Life is great.

Honestly this is so hard. The hardest thing i've ever done. but at least there are blue skies and hidden little parks and mothers of two that love the book of mormon and great little companions that make life worth living.

i love you all. Happy birthday paige. Happy graduation nikki. Happy year mark me.
